A little late with this message, but it was CRAZY seeing people 20 years after graduation. I skipped the 10 year, but figured I shouldn't skip the 20. I didn't get to ElDorado until the middle of Junior year, plus I was definitely a "new waver" and spent my time avoiding human contact!  Ha ha. However, those people that I did make friends with in 87/88 were still the same approachable and kind folk they were back then!

So, I have a question to pose to the other people on this site. What happened to Jason Schwartz? I had a strange encounter with him today, and just wondered if anyone has kept in touch with him through to years or has heard about him and his life.

Thank you for any info you may have, and here's to making it to our 30 year!

Nope Brad. I wont be going. I can only afford 1 concert a year.
About Crue Fest -  I enjoyed all the other bands (Papa Roach, Sixx AM, Buckcherry) but thought Motley Crue was pretty lame. I like their new song tho. It was a long concert ... so maybe I was burnt out by the time the Crue took the stage.
:o/
I hope you have fun!

I loved how Sue, Sichler and Toledo spread their enthusiasm to all of us thru the web site.

I loved seeing Jennifer Spalding and Jennifer Santana laughing together again.

I loved hearing how eloquent and beautiful Mike Turk sounded with his very grown up voice. (maybe by the next reunion I'll have a grown up voice :)

I loved seeing Tom Hirschman getting mobbed by all the beautiful girls. (some things will never change)

I loved seeing Ron Upshaw walk-in with his wild hair-do.

I loved seeing Sue, Deanna, Bea, Jennifer and Theresa giggling and thinking they were enjoining the rewards from all their hard work.

This list is getting too long; so I will end with what I loved most.  I LOVED seeing my Brett turn as red as his shirt when he saw his half naked picture. All summer I have been singing along with that New Kids on the Block song. I didn't know I was singing about him. "He was in his half  shirt ..short shorts..and we were feeling young love and we couldn't get enough..baby I could reminisce forever"

I really had such a good time. I only wish I could have made Friday night.  Looking at pictures, there were so many faces of people I would have loved to have seen but didn't because they weren't at the events on Saturday.  Irregardless, a good time was had. I think even my boyfriend would do it again, he was such a good sport.  I think all of  our spouses/ partners/ dates deserve a hand.  Of course a big cheer out to the entire commitee.  You all did a wonderful job (despite your dissappointment with the food and bar closing). We were all good enough company that the rest didn't matter.  Besides, we all looked so good, who was paying any attention to the food.  And it wasn't like we need a drink to make someone look better, right??? Good job guy's!!!

We all had a great time at the golf tournament. Brian Ouellette was the Tiger of the group. He shot a very nice 83. And he only took 6 mulligans. Just kidding. He had a great round.
I got to see a few people go in the water on #18. Not a way to end the round Mr. Jump. By the way, Jeff was playing barefoot. Hope you didn't have to walk in the mesa much Jeff. Jana was the only lady that played and she showed the boys in her group how to play.   People were telling Toledo to keep his head down but that was only so he couldnt see them laughing at him. Sorry Eric, I couldn't resist.
Ommy ended up winning $1,000. Jason Greene took home $600. Both Sanzari and Mark Johnson won $800 each.
Strange and a bit disappointed that I didn't see any white belts from the group. I saw a few cigars and I think I smelled some other kind of smoke.
John Sanzari hadn't golfed since OJ was arrested and he shot the same score as me and I play every week. Says something about me eh? Naw, John's just a stud.
The weather was just perfect for us and since we only drank water, we were ready for Friday night.
Thanks to all that showed up.  Can't wait to do it again.

Hi Eric- It sounds like a great idea, but I think we might be able to renew this sight for another year. There is also a way to purchase a CD of this site from Myevent.com. I'm looking into how people can order it-so let me know if you're interested.

Several people have asked if there is a way to get a list of everyone's contact info. Since I don't feel comfortable with making everyone's info. public, I thought the website would be a great way to stay in contact. After another year of being online - I figure everyone will have other ways of contacting each other.

Susan and interested parties...there is a feature on Webshots that allows you to create a photo album.  I know I can do it as a user/member but have never tried as a "guest/visitor". At any rate I think Webshots charges 19.95 to build your own album via selected pics. I will try to migrate some of these over for those that want to try.  Link attached  http://community.webshots.com/user/lxatoledo

Had a great time, I was bummed however that limited conversations with people I have missed over the years flew by so quickly.  Really a great group of people, I am proud to be an EHS 88 grad.

So for those that care, I will be loading some pictures that you all can access via Webshots.  I will have a 20 year Reunion folder so if you have a pic or pics that you all just love, send it/them to me and I will upload.  I am already paying for the site for personal use so really no point in collecting funds to open a new one unless someone wants to take on that endeavor.

If you do send pics, be selective and don't get all wounded if it takes a while to get them uploaded due to time constraints.  Note, you can save the 20yr link to your "favorites" so you don't have to sift through other boring Toledo pics.

Great job reunion committe.  Thanks for your hard work.

Hi Stephanie,

The Barley Room is open to the public, but we have reserved a private space for our party. If you have signed-up for the Sat. Dinner / Dance ($75)  the Friday Social & Picnic are included.

Otherwise, we ask that classmates pay $10 for Fri. night & $10 for the picnic, towards the cost of planning the reunion, as well as food provided at these two events.

I can't believe it's almost here!
I'm glad everyone is enjoying the web site. It's been fun having this technology for planning. See you next weekend! :o)

Hi everybody.  Looking forward to the reunion next weekend, seeing everyone, playing some golf, coming back to ABQ after all this time.  My folks are still in town, so I'll get to see them too.  Sorry, I don't think we'll be having any afternoon parties (I think we drank the house dry back then).

My wife can't make the reunion with me, but she insisted that I go.  I think this is her way of getting rid of me for a while.  So, I can't wait to catch up     with everyone and make up stories about how successful I have become.  Oh, wait scratch that last one.

Hi Tracee and classmates!
I just added the weather guide to the Travelers page. Check it out!

Good question Tracee ... the weather currently has been in the 90s, with late afternoon storm clouds. However, we haven't gotten any rain, just the gusts of wind.
But remember ... July is typically monsoon season. So we might see some down-pours during Reunion Weekend. But it's Albuquerque - it only lasts for 2o minutes, at the most. :o)

Does anyone else still have their Z Cavaricci's? Your know what is really scary? ... listening to your children singing Iron Maiden or Poison and thinking they know the words better than you do. What gets even more is watching cartoons (Tom and Jerry) with them  and they are trying to tell you about the show.  They don't know who Pebbles and Bambam are, but can sing "Pour some sugar on me" with out thinking. You guys make it sound like feathered bangs is a BAD thing ---- I like my feathered bangs! I'm seriously considering a perm too, but everyone keeps trying to talk me out of it. UGH, I miss those days when all this was in style. :o]

Jill you are toooo funny..........bangs........I guess you haven't seen my whole website or all the photo
albums.  The only hair that I can "feather" is on my back.  Feather.......you crack me up, thanks for rubbing it in.
To Jason's point, would really be great to have folks show up.  Don't be all self concious about wondering if people remember you or how you look, just be happy your above ground breathing fresh air.  Let's have a good time and enjoy life before our "memorial page' gets any longer.

Hey Eric,
Thanks for the photos--they are HYSTERICAL!  Kind of makes me want to cut and feather my bangs...  Does anyone have any hairspray?

Less than 40 days and counting. We need to try and get the "Missing List" just a little smaller. If any of you know some of these people. Raddle their cage, tell them to drop a line. Some of you may have been checking out the website every once and a while or everyday, and thought "nobody will remember me" NOT TRUE. If you are like me you dug out the old yearbook. So come on CLASS OF 88, lets try and make this thing happen in a big way!

Hey all—I thought I might chime in and let everyone know that I am still alive. After looking at the memorial page the “Lopez” are not doing so well. It has been great to see that everyone is good, and I am looking forward on attending the reunion.

Team EHS- yes, I have uploaded more pictures and I know what everyone is thinking, "Has this dude waited his whole life for the 20 yr reunion, gee whiz, pictures and such..........Toledo, GET A LIFE."  So to answer, Yes, I have thought about the 20 year every hour of everyday  for 20 years. I dream about it, I cry, I go through yearbooks and find phone numbers that say K.I.T so I can call to catch up with alum.  Unfrortunately, phone numbers are either disconnected or I get eldery parents that sound bewildered when I call.............at any rate, my new "EHS 2o" tattoo back piece is finally done and I hope to share it with all when we meet.  Or, you can wish to believe that  I have always archived my life thx to J. Greene and just moved which affords me the luxury of unpacking only to finally know where every piece of meaningless crap is located now.   We shall all be beneficiaries of this enlightenment via, embarrassing pics. Stay tuned.

Susan and committee....I have 5 billion pictures  that you can get from me to upload.  I tried to upload some and it took a while.   I'd love to but I just don't have the time.   I have been posting them under my Webshots link under B-Sides 80-88 if you can find a way to link them to this site.  I will try to upload more each week until the reunion.   Let me know.

Hey all!  I moved from Eldorado the middle of my senior year but have always considered myself an Eagle.  I'm not sure if anyone remembers me or not but I'm excited to see everyone.  I hung out with Cindy Bustos ('87), Laura Garcia ('89), Wendy Foster ('89) and married Lanny McIlroy and had 3 kids with him.  I got divorced and then married Mark Woods ('85) and am having the time of my life.  Most of my friends graduated in 87. I feel like you do Stephanie. We'll hang out together lol!

I cannot believe it's been 20 years!! I still feel like I am 18 years old!

I hope that someone, anyone, even remembers me! My fear is attending the reunion and everyone saying, "who are you here with?"

Let's just say, I missed more classes than I attended!

Well, I hope to make it to the big reunion! I hope some "freaks" and my beloved ETC Animals attend! (Drama dept)

BTW: this site is great!

It's 20 yrs later.  Life's lessons have taught us, hopefully, what is really important.  What is important is enjoying everyday and every person that is brought into your life for that day.  I look forward to seeing each and every one of you.  I'm so psyched.  Thanks to everyone putting this all together.  You rock!!!!!

We wanted to make sure that everyone had a way to stay informed and in the loop.
Thanks to several of you who are helping us get in touch with the MISSING. Keep spreading the word - even if they aren't on our missing list. We can only hope we've reached everyone else by snail mail, email, Classmates.com or the EHS website.

Maybe it's just me ... but I always thought that by Junior year, there wasn't that big of a divide between everyone. I was smoking at the jock wall; no one cursed me (to my face, at least.) I was just ME.
We lost most of our new friends to the building of La Cueva - which left a lot of us who had grown up with each other thru elementary/middle school.
At the 10 yr. Reunion I noticed several of us were reminiscing about mid school & elementary. If we think back to how long most of us have known each other ... it's almost like an extended family, whether we were close or not.
That is how I see our Reunions - a time to see everyone we've grown up with - talk about I knew you/you knew me when.  None of us want to relive school - but it sure is fun to see familiar faces and get to know each other again.

20 years. In some ways it seems like so long ago because so much has happened since then. But I still remember some scenes and people so clearly...like they happened/I saw them yesterday. I´m living in Israel - not sure I´ll be able to make it. I really would like to be there, though. Peace.
